Or is it, Anthony, that some of Erik Larsen's work has a "Byrne" vibe to it? Larsen, despite his criticisms of JB's art, was influenced by it.

I can kinda see it too, Anthony, now that you mention it. But it's still telling that what JB does as a quick sketch is akin to what Erik Larsen considers a finished product.

At the risk of getting smacked by JB that She-Hulk sketch has a Erik Larsen vibe to it. *** I thought the Phoenix was Starfire at first glance. Just in the face! Great sketches!

Really love that Wolverine sketch. The looseness of the lines for the shirt really add a certain vibe to the piece that works with the topic of Logan chilling with a can of Labatt's. I like to think he'd drink Moosehead these days.
