Others have noted elsewhere on the 'Net that Cyborg seems to have a Transformer head in his crotch area. WARNING: Once seen, it can't be unseen.

For fun, show your pals this picture and ask them which Transformer it is from the movies. :-D

Wait for their answer, then watch their disgust as you reveal the truth.

So, pretty much everything but part of his head is robotic?

Now here is the question that designers need to ask themselves. If the person is skilled enough to design a cybernetic body. Don't you think they would be skilled enough to actually make something less clunky looking?

And how long will it be (before they change it)?

Change it? I'm sure the toys and merchandise are already being manufactured. Even if they aren't, no one changes anything anymore. Changing something would be tantamount to admitting error, and no one makes mistakes or does anything wrong anymore. They just accuse their detractors of "fake news" and engage in mockery.

"So, I hear some 'fans' (what a bunch they are, am I right?) are seeing faces in the crotches of our characters. Ye-ahh, probably just want to see their faces there, but no. I kid. Really. They're a great bunch. A little excitable. What can I say? They make things up. They do. But hey, when you're on top, like we are, you take shots. I can take 'em. I've been doing it for years. Hasn't hurt me yet. So, for the rest of you, the good people who've supported us for so long, we have a great movie for you. Wonderful, wonderful movie. Huge opening grosses assured. Huge, I tell you. Your gonna love it... Next question: yes, you. No, not you. Or you. In fact, no questions from any of the rest you liars. Only from the reporter from the WB Publicity Dept. The only person in this room, other than myself and my team, of course, with any integrity. What's your question..?"

Works like a charm.

Kind of a dick move.

It just occurred to me that all of these movies are leading up to a confrontation with Darkseid and I am absolutely terrified of what they are going to do to his costume design.

I'm picturing him as a vaguely human-shaped sports car filled with rocket fins crossed with a parade float celebrating weapons manufacture. With really big feet.

Can't be much worse than what Jim Lee did with it...

That's his daughter Grail next to him, btw.  She's normal action figure size.  Because apparently, Darkseid also has to be a giant.

Both live action Cyborg and action figure Darkseid look terrible.

That figure reminds me of the Amalgam character Thanoseid.

That's what you think! Have you seen what they've already done to Steppenwolf?

(those are mother boxes he's holding too I think)

Just what is making the middle box raise-up?

At least Thanoseid is part Thanos, so he has an excuse to look stupid.

I would have guessed that action figure to be Apocalypse; that chest emblem looks rather Egyptian scarab-y, which doesn't call to mind Darkseid.

In the Justice league movie Steppenwolf will be played by Ciarán Hinds from Game of Thrones, Rome: The Mini-Series, and Ghost Rider II: Spirits of vengeance.

Cyborg's Groin AI will be played by Frank Welker.

That's not a joke about Steppenwolf being played by Ciarán Hinds. He's doing voice and probably gestures for some CGI thing.

Did Jim Lee really design that Darkseid? It doesn't really look like stuff he's designed before.

For those interested, Ben Affleck announced he won’t direct 'The Batman' but will remain as producer and star. WB is eyeing a shortlist of shooters that includes 'Captain Fantastic' director Matt Ross and Matt Reeves, director for the upcoming 'War of the Planet of the Apes'.

Look at those shoulder pads.
DarkseidHammer 40k

Jack Kirby sure is lucky to have his crappy designs saved by today's super-
super-super talents like Jim Lee. When the last of his work is paved over, Kirby
will only be a legend-- a name spoken in reference to a time no one quite
remembers...
