11x17 Comission of an imaginary Marvel and DC crossover comic featuring Batman and Superman vs. Spider-Man and Wolverine. Please have the look of a late 1970's comic cover and include the logo and cover dressing (but no UPC code box). The details are:

- please design an imaginary logo for the comic book cover, something like DC & Marvel Present: "Epic Battles". The character names do not all have to appear

- please have the issue number to read: 12 SEP 1978 (i.e., issue # 12, published in Sept. 1978)

- background is a city of your design

The costumes are all late 70's vintage; here are links to previously completed commissions that feature the characters in the costumes the commissioner prefers:

Superman: LINK1

Batman: LINK2

Spider-Man: LINK3

Wolverine: LINK4

Why do I have a feeling that Wolverine is going to be first man out in this
cross-over?!?

This makes me wish DC and Marvel played nicely together back then! This certainly looks like a fun comic to read.

I just love the way JB draws Spider-Man. This is such a fun piece. Well

I would've bought this comic! I love how Wolverine is actually shown to be slashing someone in the FACE! Kind of underscores what a little psycho he was back in the 70's/early 80's! Good guys just don't do that!

Ouch.

Nice, but DC wins.

Very COOL & AWESOME!!! That's 70s' Superman, o Wolverine is especially in trouble! After all, that was when Superman could literally move planets!

Wow.  I have a perfect idea for another issue of DC & MARVEL PRESENT: EPIC BATTLES!

That shall be my next commission!

A large logo, four characters (two of them upside down!), lots of background and it all looks perfect and uncluttered.  Well done! I particularly love Batman on this one.  Great job using Superman to frame the title of the book.
