Sharp eyes will notice I edited the date in the thread title. When I posted this one, this morning, I followed my usual model and gave the date the thread was started. I figured that would be okay, as I did not expect to get another commission piece done today. But I did! So I have changed the date on this one to the day it was done.

Even without familiar objects to provide scale, Galactus seems massive in this image.

Hey, every other comic artist out there: this is how you do Galactus! Looking at all the tech, especially the footrest, I can imagine all the equipment moving and changing shape to wherever Galactus feels like reaching to or, well, resting each foot. Would make a great visual on the big screen (not that we're ever going to see the big guy).

Besides Kirby, nobody can draw Galactus like JB. This is a nice one.

John has taught me more in 10 years on this forum than I learned in any art class. (Of course, here, I am yearning for every lesson)

"Include lots of foreground and background Galactus technology"
Oh, and HOW!
Not just huge congratulations to the commissioner, but thanks as well, because that's such a perfect choice of thing to ask JB (specifically) to do. Galactus with appropriate gadgetry and cosmic scenery? Perfect.
