IDW released this information today: Star Trek: New Visions #1: The Mirror, Cracked—SPOTLIGHT John Byrne (writer, artist & photo-manipulation) Following up on last year’s hugely successful "Strange New Worlds" photonovel, John Byrne once again sets sail aboard the Starship: Enterprise, this time with an ongoing, bi-monthly series that begins by going through the looking glass to tell the story of what happened after the classic "Mirror, Mirror" episode of the original series. The crew discovers two strangers in their midst, and quickly learns that one has made a pact with one of James Kirk's oldest foes. "The Mirror, Cracked" is the title, and the action unfolds in May! FC • 48 pages • $7.99 • ISBN: 978-1-63140-002-5 • All-new "photonovel" story set in the Mirror Universe!

YES! Excellent cover, JB
Very much looking forward to another STAR TREK photonovel. For those who have not read the first one, check out JB's STAR TREK photonovel, "Strange New Worlds", in shops now. And is it available as a digital download yet?
I gave my copy of "Strange New Worlds" to my brother, so I went hunting to replace it on my bookshelf. I found copies of the book shelved with the trade paperbacks at Meltdown, which is the king of the comic book shops in Los Angeles. It fits in perfectly with the other Star Trek books.

It should be noted that the cover seen there is from an earlier version of the book, when we were still planning on a 22 page monthly. Hence the "Part One" in the title. The 48 page version is complete in one issue. Also, we have a new series title, beyond "Star Trek" alone. I will let IDW announce that!

Tim O'Neill asked...And is it available as a digital download yet?
I was able to purchase it from the Ibook store for my IPad, so at least on Apple devices it is.

JB, will each of these 48 page photonovels be self-contained or will there be longer stories that continue over a number of issues?

JB, will each of these 48 page photonovels be self-contained or will there be longer stories that continue over a number of issues?••• Each issue approximates one episode in length. I'm not presently anticipating any "two-parters." No issue-to-issue subplots, either.

JB, would you under any circumstances consider doing a creator-owned project for Image?

Are the photonovels really going to be bi-monthly? Wow that would be wonderful.
