In return, allow me to offer a Britta/ Annie morph, today's iteration of the eternal question... :-)

For me, these questions are moot. My answer is always the brunette -- all the way back to Wilma/Betty.

Halle Berry and Lynda Carter combined would apparently be the most beautiful woman who ever lived.

JB: You got John Agar? Jeez.

Marlowe, of course, from the Day the Earth Stood Still and Earth vs the Flying Saucers.

Brian, can you do one of Lynda Carter and Lindsay Wagner - 70s super-women? Actually, Lynda and Jaclyn Smith seem a natural, too.

8. The Original Clayface??

My intent here was Basil Karlo, DC's Clayface, made from Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff (who I assumed were the basis). Then I recalled Lon Chaney would probably be an inspiration as well.

However, "Basil" suggests Basil Rathbone, who was never a "horror" star.

The Modern Holmes(es), Benedict Cumberbatch and Johnny Lee Miller:

Miller's permastubble as Holmes was problematic, so I found a red carpet image, but it's a bit clean ...

Of course! When I was in my early teens, Agar was practically a fixture on the late, late show. "Mr. Shirley Temple" was in so many cheapy horror and sci-fi flicks churned out in the previous decade. REVENGE OF THE CREATURE, TARANTULA, THE MOLE PEOPLE, THE BRAIN FROM PLANET AROUS, ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE, plus a flock of TV appearances once his less-than-stellar* movie career petered out.

________

* It's really hard to escape the rep of being the guy who f*cked Shirley Temple -- in several meanings of the word -- especially since it was that notoriety which essentially jump-started his career in the first place.

Roy, here you go, along with one that took a bit of doing in order to get right...

It's as if the Supermen of Earth-1 and Earth-2 somehow merged... This actually happened, by the way, in Superman Family #187. :-)
