Pretty awesome! Wish I had known about this spot earlier, but better late than never.

Curtis:  "I've been a lurker since the old Magnus board, but I've never joined in. Instead, I've just sat back and enjoyed the show, and what a show it's been!"

****

Welcome, Curtis - glad you have jumped in as we celebrate our first decade.

I started out on Magnus' forum - I never thought I would participate in a discussion forum, but when i saw JB was interacting with fans, I knew I had to join in.  It's been a wild ride since then. This Forum feels like it was part of the road test for a lot social media on the internet.  I always liked that we insisted on real names, and that principled stance is now commonplace in the best internet social media.  I think it prevents much of the snarky cruelty we see elsewhere.  It has kept this forum honest, and has enabled us to tackle some contentious issues with a rare candor.

For those fans of JB that have been sitting on their hands, please join us.  It's a great time to be here - JB is breaking new ground with  his upcoming photo-novel series STAR TREK: NEW VISIONS.  The commissions are as cool as ever, and the archive is a digital museum that will take all of your time if you are not careful!

Thank you to JB for taking the time to talk comic books, storytelling, and so much more.

Thanks to all the people who come here from far and wide - it's my favorite place on the web
