11" x 17" illustration of Batman vs. Sabretooth, no backgrounds,. The details are:

- portrait orientation

- Batman costume as shown in the following commission:

LINK

- Sabretooth wearing his original costume from Iron Fist #14 that you designed

- please draw a heated battle. Batman sports battle damage but is delivering a decisive strike.

Nice punch! Congrats to the commissioner. JB, take another pat on the back out of petty cash for how you frame these past two commissions. Where 99% of most artists would allow the image to end before the edge of the page, you fill the page well beyond the edge. I know you have commented in the past about this so let me say you have that ability down pat.

Much of this comes from studying Kirby. Altho he mostly (tho not exclusively) used a standard 4/6 panel grid, he pretty much ignored the borders of those panels. This is what gives his work so much of its power. We know, even without actually seeing it, that the action is exploding beyond the limits of the page.

Big, bold, and I love your gritty Batman, JB! The contrast of the blacks in Batman to the linework in Sabretooth is interesting.

Pretty sweet fight, would love to see a book with Batman outsmarting this much tougher opponent.

Looks to be a  brutal fight. Would love to see more Batman Vs Marvel villains in the future. JB nailed this one without a doubt.

SER: Sabretooth. Batman lost once he allowed the fight to become a
close-range brawl with basically an intelligent tiger.
