11" by 17" illustration of The Thing; no backgrounds. The details are:

- Non-action pose.

- Rocky skin.

- black and white costume you designed.

- draw him holding/smoking a cigar

The commissioner really likes the following commission and would like something with the same feel:

An OOPS on the trunks, obviously. My "default setting" for the FF is their original uniforms. Sometimes, even when asked, I forget to put 'em in the black & whites!

With this piece, Bashful Benjamin joins the "Four Lines" club, over on the Character Count chart.

I love it. Your ability to capture The Thing's personality in a single figure
piece never ceases to amaze me.

This drawing reminds me of how much I miss reading the adventures of Ben
and the rest of the family each month.

I think this is mine!
The description certainly matches :)

If so, I`m thrilled indeed! Wow. A dream come true to get my first FF character, drawn by JB. The series which first hooked me on JB`s work, back in 1984! :)

Anyhoo ,assuming this is mine, no worries on the trunks, JB. I`m hoping to commission the other 3 members of the team, so I`ll request the original uniforms to match.

Btw is there a personalization on the original? If not ,can it be added?
Thank-you for the truly Fantastic commission! :)

Jason : Thanks!  Yes I agree! Amazing for sure.
JB and Ben Grimm are a comic book match made in heaven! I love it every time I see JB draw The Thing :)

No worries, Mike! :). The dedication IS on the original. Lately I've been thinking I should leave such things off the images I post!

Oh great stuff! Thanks very much JB :)

Btw do you leave off the dedication ,when you post the images, to protect the anonymity of the commissioner?
