Today's the day -- actually going to pick up another copy of ST: New Visions while I make this infrequent trip to the LCS.

Too bad this stuff isn't as near as my local 7-11 anymore. Creak-creak. Showing my age? Grump and grumble!

Just read mine. What can I say, as far as art is concerned, it's
Simonson doing his best work ever. Lots of mystery in the story, I wish
issue two was coming out tomorrow.

It was a sweet read, going where I didn't expect and that's a good thing!

Is this a ongoing or a mini-series?

Brad, according to an interview I read with Walt, this is an ongoing.

Now that's how it's done. Walt just knows how to tell a story. Of course, the art was fantastic. I sometimes wonder if Walt isn't actually an immortal Viking skald...

The more I think of it, the more it seems to me that Simonson redefined
Marvel in that first issue of his Thor run. The whole SHIELD/Avengers that is
so prevailing today, the cavalier attitude with secret identities, etc.
