Walt Simonson has a new IDW title coming called "Ragnarok" and it looks something fierce!

I wondered what all that rejoicing in the streets was about.

I caught a glimpse of this earlier and thought "COOL!" Any epic Simonson art, especially on a story like this, is far better than most of what we get today.

My son has been asking about this book for the last three months.  If he likes it, we're going to do a Walt raid on the Thor backissue bin at the LCS.   Which really, I should have done before now anyway.

It looks like Walt's best work ever. I've been looking forward to this for
about a year now.

They've already been reprinting his Starslammers material. I never
had a chance to read the original Epic story until now. It's really good.
The man knows how to put a space battle on the page and give it life.

I'm curious JB, have you been approached to do a variant cover for
his new project? ( just pipedreaming, but I'd love see it.)

Craig, trust me,your son will love it,go and get the Walt Thor run! I would recommend the nicely recoloured recent trades/omnibus.
