Remember last year when March was supposed to be WTF month at
DC? They were actually going to put that on the cover. Enough
backlash and they pulled the event.

It's sad really. You can actually almost see it. A bunch of guys sitting
around a boardroom table asking each other,
"Well, what do the kids like these days?"
        "They like cuss words and off color language."
"Tricky, maybe something with a double meaning."

Then that pat themselves on the back believing themselves to be
brilliant.

a) he looks nothing like a superhero
b) he's holding a gun
3) they use a swear word in the ad

This is the coolest thing since that time Wolverine told
Professor X to go fuck himself.

(I wonder why I don't let my 4 year old son look at
modern superhero comics or films...)

Incidentally, isn't it beyond time someone told Hollywood and comicbook artists that holding a pistol sideways seriously messes with the aim?
