That---was 9 years ago?. I continue to -seriously- underestimate perception!. I'd have said five---at a push!.•• Yes, if you woke me in the middle of the night and asked, I'd probably say five. Next year I will have been in this house half as long as I was at the Manor. And I was at the Manor longer than I had previously been ANYWHERE (except Planet Earth, of course). The weird thing is, I really put down some serious roots, back on the Old Post Road. When I left that house, I thought I would struggle with some pretty potent emotions. And yet, it was GONE almost as soon as I drove out thru the gates for the last time!* –––––––––––– * Oddly enough, my dreams still often take place in some variant of the old house. I've only had two dreams -- that I remember -- that were supposedly set here. (Altho there is a very cool house I wish I DID live in, that turns up in my dreams from time to time!)
