My apologies if I'm mis-remembering here, but I seem to recall that our host mentioned in the past that he liked the Lockheed Constellation airliner...

I was at the Seattle Museum of Flight yesterday for US Marines display and the Seafair appearance of the US Navy Blue Angels, and I remembered that there was a Lockheed Super Constellation as part of the AirPark collection there:

Funny you mention the Spitfire... The museum has one on display in the WW II section (can be restored to flyable condition with some work), and there is another Spitfire that regularly does flight displays up in Everett at the same airfield where the main Boeing Factory is.

They also have a De Havilland Comet undergoing restoration near there as well.
