It's a great idea, Robbie.

Thank you.

I've enjoyed the many Galactus tales over the years, but the villains - even the nastiest ones like Mandarin and Magneto - must protect their world. There's nothing for them to rule if Galactus destroys it. :)

I thought that Galactus storyline in Thor was not about
Galactus wanting to eat Asgard but about something else.

Ha! Well played, Greg! It does put me in mind of Batman's set-up in Kingdom Come... Armored, ruling his city from within his fortress using a robot police force to maintain order amongst the now happier, crime-free citizens... Hmmm...

I thought that Galactus storyline in Thor was not about Galactus wanting to eat Asgard but about something else.

Apparently, Galactus is searching for "The Galactus Seed." Yeah.

A quick Googling led me to this: "The Galactus Seed, also known as the Worldheart, was an item that was actually a super dense cosmic heart created before the beginning of time at the hands of Eternity. Its intention was to give birth to the next universe to come and was formed before recorded time. The Seed was discovered by Bor, the First King of Asgardians with his sons Odin, Vili and Ve. After finding it, Bor planted the Seed in order to give birth to the current universe. In addition, the Seed was responsible for birthing the World Tree over which the Nine Realms resided."

I don't think that one would play out well for humanity.  Galactus wasn't defeated through brute force in the original trilogy, and if the Watcher hadn't intervened as he did, and if the Human Torch hadn't done exactly what he should have...

My alliance: Dr. Doom, Mysterio, Klaw, Graviton, Electro, Magneto, Molecule Man, and the Shadow King.

Doom becomes aware that Galactus is heading towards earth. He enlists those that can help make the earth appear dead, therefore worthless to Galactus. Mysterio designs the illusion, taking into consideration the many ways Galactus may be able to "read" life. The rest are then used to dampen those signals. Doom then confronts Galactus telling him that he's too late, Dark Phoenix had returned and already destroyed the planet. The Shadow King uses his powers to prevent Galactus from reading Doom's mind and Galactus has no choice but to seek sustenance elsewhere.

Hmm wouldn't magic be Doom's best approach or a combination
of the two.

Then he might want some magically based pawns.

It was Dr. Strange who took down Galactus in FF 243.  I imagine Dr. Doom would take a similar approach.  And then usurp Galactus' power and then the villains turn on Doom.

I like your team Robbie ,but I might add Kang to the alliance . I think they might need some time manipulation.
Fun to think about though.

Some of these proposed alliances are bringing back Secret Wars memories.

Doom, using a series of lenses fashioned from Klaw's dissected body, fashioned a machine that stole the energy from Galactus while he devoured his own homeworld.
