Interesting (I think!) to compare this to the similar shot that was the splash of MARVEL TEAM-UP 63.
Some distance traveled! (Notice Chris sneaking in a real time reference there. I could not cure him of that!!) Trivia: There is something in my brain that flops images, left to right. It seems that whenever I track down a panel from a comic, for instance, it is the mirror image of what I remembered. So too, here. I checked the MTU issue, to make sure I was not too closely duplicating that old image, and lo and behold, it was reversed from what I remembered!

Man, comparing that panel to the commission would have to convince
*anyone* that "his old stuff was better" is a simply ludicrous assertion.

And didn't everyone make real-time references in Marvel books in the 70s? Not just Claremont, but Thomas, Englehart, Gerber, et al?

Regarding Chris,that page is one thing that irritates me about his writing `You are Iron Fist` etc,errrr i think he knows,unless he`s an amnesiac.Both pictures are faultless though!
