Absolutely the Fourth World stuff - yeah, that's what I think of if I had to imagine distilled Kirby-ness. Mister Miracle is one of my personal all-time favourite character designs - just incredible...

KIRBY'S HERE!

••

A rare example, for the time, of actually acknowledging ON THE COVER that the guy(s) doing the work might have some effect on the sales!

Though I love OMAC and MR. MIRACLE is in many ways incredible, I have to say that KAMANDI is Kirby's best solo creation. The character, design, concept, setting, etc.--it's all pretty iconic, engrossing, and has most story potential.

Looking at it objectively, I could see KAMANDI movies, TV shows, books, comic strips, and comic book versions by a wide variety of talent. KAMANDI could be BIG!
