I totally agree on Doc Ock being the number one Spider-man villain. You're doing vey well for a character you have no interest in.

I'm liking what I see so far.
As for the Goblin, I thought his place in the Spider-man mythos was
perfect - until he was brought back form the dead.

I have long felt his elevation to being Spider-Man's "Number One Foe" was
completely undeserved. That place belongs to Doctor Octopus!

A while back, I was going to post a "Q for JB" that had to do with this very subject.
It was going to be along the lines of "have you ever put time into a piece, whether it be page, panel, commission, etc." only to realize you just weren't "feeling" it and scrapping it altogether?
I would have used the word "scrapped" because my habit is to just tear something in half and toss it in the trash, thus "purging" it from my system entirely, and moving forward in a different direction.
I hope it's some small comfort to know beyond the shadow of a doubt that some people haven't achieved in an entire career what you have in one unfinished piece!

Don't want it to get into circulation. (A few years back, I did a promotional piece for WONDER WOMAN that I ended up not liking at all. Instead of shredding it -- manually -- as was my usual habit, I gave it to one of the editors at DC. Next thing I knew, it was on posters, ads, even a cloisonné pin!!) This piece is on heavyweight stock, so tearing is not an option.
