JB,
I’ve caught glimpses of some of the original pages in your collection in the background of photos that you’ve posted and you’ve mentioned various others elsewhere - I was curious as to what page or pages do you consider most significant as far as an important piece of comics history. Also what page means the most to you personally?

When people ask me why I have a particular piece in my collection, I say it comes down to three things:

• The page is "historically significant"

• The page has special meaning for me, personally

• All of the above.

Almost all my Kirby pages, for instance, fall into the latter category, since they are mostly early Silver Age.

One of my Kubert pages is from the first BRAVE&BOLD Hawkman story, featuring Katar and Shiera in costume and descending to Earth for the first time. It's also from a comic that blew me away when I bought it new, off the rack.

I have a Dick Sprang piece, recreating the first page of the first Batman story I ever read. Some serious significance, there!

And, of course, from the first SUPERMAN vs THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, I own the double-page spread upon which the characters actually meet for the first time.

Thanks JB! It would have to quite an experience seeing some of your pages. Just knowing some of the FF pages you have blow me away.

Is there any place in this site or forum where we can see your artwork collection JB? I've seen a few pictures of your studio but never up close pics of those things hanging in your wall.

I posted a "tour" some years back, but I couldn't begin to tell you how to find it!
