Sasquatch and Guardian are two characters that I have never seen drawn well by any other artist. Nobody captures Walt's fur or Mac's helmet quite right for me.

I started buying Hulk with JB's first issue, #314 and haven't missed an issue since that month!  Loved those six issues!

This commission reminds me of when you switched from ALPHA FLIGHT to THE INCREDIBLE HULK, JB…. makes me wish it had been a double-sized issue drawn and written by you.

John has always been my favourite comic book writer and artists.  His style influenced my drawing style from a young age.  It wasn't until college that my style stopped looking like a bad John Byrne rip-off and took on a look of its own!  I jumped at the chance to have John draw my 2 favourite members of Alpha Flight (both of whom John KILLED!!) fighting my second favourite comics character of all time... The Incredible Hulk!

Funny story though.  I didn't know that John had even started this commission.  A buddy of mine said to me one day... I think your commission is online already.  I said, "IMPOSSIBLE!  I haven't even paid the down payment yet. Somebody had better not have had the exact same idea as me!!"

Turns out John just jumped the gun :D  I can only assume because the concept was sooooo appealing!

Thanks for doing such a bang up job John!  This sucker is going in a frame the second I get it and up on the wall of my studio!!

The same thing happened with my recent FF commission. I kept waiting for Jim to contact me with the down payment, and waiting.... ;^) I was a quite surprised when JB posted the finished work on the forum! The first thing I thought was someone else had the same idea!

I know that JB is often applauded for his rubble, but I think the foliage in this piece equals the rubble in any other for quality and fill.

Excellent piece.
