Mr. Peck.. Now I'm tracking.. You are right. I was confused as there's a lot of misunderstanding on a lot of gun laws. Many people refer to the gun show loophole to mean that one can go to a gun show and buy from the dealers set up without any paperwork, which isn't the case as those dealers also must follow the FFL paperwork and background checks. There are a bunch of people who do sell their stuff at the shows even though they're tech not supposed to. I normally don't bother going to the shows as gun porn isn't something I really into, but when I have gone I have seen the people doing it. They really should come up with a better name for the loophole as with places like Backpage and a couple of other forums private sellers have been hocking their guns. None of those require any paperwork. That's something I personally don't agree with. I really do think those guns should be tracked better. Either way, you're 100 % correct, my apologies for my misunderstanding.

The surfeit of firearms in the US seems (not surprisingly) to be powering the increasingly unpopular trend of militarizing the police.


It's hard to see how a feedback loop like that could end well.
