[EDIT-25th-June 2019. The length of a page strand has been altered in order to better serve the Fan-Fiction Board. The knock-on result is that my general description of where some of these observations lie within the now old page structure is misleading. You will be taken to the appropriate thread but you will need to roughly -double- my estimates]

A great thread dissecting the responsibility behind writing for an established character and the results of abusing that trust.

And while this is not a commentary on specifics, this is a visual minefield of information for the budding artist/inker. The thread has lots of nice observations about the order and process.

For reasons unknown that Spider-Man "How-To" has caused a great deal of consternation among some fans, and even a few so-called "professionals." "How dare you tell me/us how to draw Spider-Man!" This despite the multiple times I have mentioned that it was no less than John Romita Sr who taught me this "trick" with the webbing. sigh

I never 'got' Spider-man's webbing until I read John's (Byrne) Romita's advice. Up until then I was completely foxed by the way that the 'scallops' looked in perspective.
