I normally don't go into a lot of personal stuff here on the board---I mostly prefer to just listen to the great conversations here---but my beloved Kringle has been really sick and I had to put her to sleep a couple of days ago.

She was almost 17 years old, and had become very ill and very weak. I can't even begin to describe how much this hurts: I miss her so much and I don't know how to handle it.

Here are some pictures of her through the years.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Lloyd. Kringle was lucky to have had such a good friend.

Dogs and cats always bring out the best in us and it looks like you gave each other a great 16+ years.

Sorry for your loss. :-(

It's no easy thing. The great tragedy of animal companions is that we live much longer lives than them.

My condolences on your loss. From the pictures, it's quite obvious you were a great Cat-Dad and you gave her a great life.

Sorry for your loss.  I went through the same thing a few years ago.  It was the single most difficult thing I've ever had to do.  Hang in there.

Lloyd, I am so sorry you're having to go through this.  My condolences.  Hopefully in sharing the pictures and in talking about her, it gives you a bit of happiness in seeing just how happy her life was with you.

Wow Lloyd, what a good looking cat and a good friend. My cat is on my lap
now, she's 13 and feel like have an inkling of how this must hurt. It's funny,
I don't know that I believe in an afterlife but I do like to think that Kringle is
still with you. My condolences.

Thank you, guys. It is nice to be able to talk about her. She has been my constant companion and confidant through good times and bad, and my house seems empty without her.
