Like Paul, there are wayyy too many amazing stories for me
to pick a definitive that will last the next time that this
question is asked, but FF #249-250 blew my mind with both
the scripting and the visuals..... awesomeness!

Many of my favorites are in Alpha Flight - that title really resonated with me when it came out ad still does to this day.

However, there are also a lot of seemingly overlooked gems in JBs THE THING series; "smaller" stories when compared to those told in books like FF, but great nonetheless.

Maybe someday I can say The Last Galactus Story.

It is very difficult picking one favorite storyline.  However, one story that stands out in my memory is the What If story about the Fantastic Four with no super powers!  I loved that story and remember wishing that I could read more stories about this super powerless Fantastic Four group and the universe they lived in!

I've been trying to think of an answer but I just know I'll wanna change
my answer in a day or so.

Oh, well...What the hell. Here goes:

JB's Galactus storyline ("Galactus Falls" and "The Trial of Reed
Richards") in FANTASTIC FOUR.

Back-up: GENERATIONS.

But right now - COLD WAR. I just find myself constantly grabbing it and, if
not reading it entirely, flipping through it for five or ten minutes at a time,
just soaking in the awesomeness radiating from it.

An ongoing COLD WAR would have the potential to contend for my top stop!

That's the one for me!

For me my favorite was John's six or so issues of the Incredible Hulk.  I just wonder what could have been and what direction he was going to take with the characters. I enjoyed the battle scenes with the Hulk Busters and the confrontation with Doc Sampson.  I was ready to read a ten year run of the Hulk with Byrne doing the scripting and art.

I was so glad he got to do Superman because he made the character interesting again.  Someday I'd like to get the trade paperbacks of all his issues.  I never ever bought Superman on a regular basis until  he was on the title.

For Brian Kelly:

I remember that What If  story!  Has it been reprinted in those "What If" paperbacks. I'm going to have to look that up on Amazon because I'd like to read that one again.  It's too bad there was never a sequel because it was a terrific alternate universe tale.

On the subject of the Hulk....I really liked the Marvel Fanfare Hulk story with all splash pages.  It was very innovative and the Hulk needed more of those stories.
