Did this one about five years back. But, I figure there's been a good
bit of turnover since so...

What's your favorite storyline either written or written and drawn by
JB? It can be a single issue, mult-issue arch, one shot or mini series.
This can be like picking between your children, so I'll let you have a
backup choice.

My all time favorite is FF 258-260. Tyros vs. Doctor Doom vs. The FF
vs. The Silver Surfer. It ends with issue 260 with a cover that you just
can't walk away from. You have to know what happens.

My second is the Romulan story from the various IDW issues. I read
these and enjoyed them as they came out. But, it wasn't until I got the
JB STAR TREK hardcover that I read them all together. What an
excellent story that doesn't get enough credit.

For me, it has to be FF 242-244.My formal introduction to the Marvel universe after sampling a few scattered spinrack issues, that epic blew my young mind.

Still does.

I'm quite partial to the Fantastic Four #246-247 storyline with Doom,
particularly 247 "This Land is Mine!"

The Trial of Reed Richards storyline from Reed's "criminal act", to Galactus' devouring of the Skrull throne world, to the trial itself.  Prior to this storyline my exposure to Galactus had been limited to his battle with the Sphinx in an earlier FF story.  This storyline showed me the true greatness of the character and restored him to his deserved stature.  The page of Galactus and how the other races see him is still one of my favorites.  The story also propelled Reed to the top of my list of favorite characters right alongside Captain America.

---It can be a single issue

Okay this is the one that leaps straight to my head.

Mine have already been said by Greg and Darren.

My favourite is the Galactus/Nova arc of FF #242-244.

My back-up is FF #285.

A close second for me would be FF 249-250. I had no idea who Gladiator was, and only a passing knowledge of the X-men, but the story was clear, exciting, and something that most today aren't: entertaining.

If I had to pick one storyline, it would probably be FF 242-244. 267 was another memorable favorite with the death of Reed and Sue's unborn child.

I can't believe I forgot FF 236...

X-Men The Hidden Years 1-7, the Savage Land story. Beautifully written,
all the characters personalities spot on. Fun, fun, fun.

Visionquest in West Coast Avengers. I love when a team like Avengers or JLA goes into flux, with members joining or quitting every other issue when a new creative team comes on board. Great story with great art.
