Ugh! Why won't these losers using Stan's name for the corporation, just dry up and blow away?

Stan Lee Media loses lawsuit.

It must suck to have a company named after you sue you and sue others in ridiculous lawsuits using your name.

I like the argument they used, but, legally, Spider-Man and the X-Men (and the rest) weren't Stan's to take over to Stan Lee Media in the first place, were they? Stan went to Stan Lee Media, not what Stan created for Marvel.

you are right, Matt, it has got to suck to have a company with your name, sue you!

I think this is similar to patent trolls.  There are groups out there that buy companies because they have a particular patent on something and then said companies go around and sue everything they can think of over the use of the patent. They end up making a ton of money on settlements because they can get organizations to come to a standstill while under litigation even if the claim wasn't valid to begin with.

Well, Stan Lee Media (which is a company that Stan "The Man" Lee has NO connections to any longer, and hasn't had any connections with for many years) has lost its' umpteenth lawsuit against Marvel Comics trying to claim ownership of characters it never had any rights to from the beginning of its' inane battles for rights. How many appeals can they get, and can somebody sue them for tying up court rooms and wasting everybody's time with this nonsense?
