I hope this comes out the right way. Sometimes, you make me want to weep JB. When you do work like this it reminds me that the comics I loved are dead. When I see work like this it also proves that the comics I love don't need to be dead. This kind of art still works.

There's not just great art, but great storytelling in this commission.I can practically read an entire comic book from this page.

I'm amazed by the way JB always makes the commissioner's request
description look better than I imagine it!

Wallace- imagine how Chris Claremont most have felt way back during their his first issue writting for John (Starlord, I think) all the way thru X-Men 143. When the art came in, it must have been mind blowing to see how JB interpreted his writting. Now that would have been like Christmas every month!

Based on the request, Spidey was supposed to be a background or extra element with the focus being on the villains.

Here, the villains are still where the action is, while JB puts Spidey as the character closest to the camera in full-body shot.

What a treat and bonus it must have been for the commissioner. I am sure he will be more than happy, whoever he is!

Awesome!

I love the way you do different textures and I also love how you can make things ( the girders specifically ) look worn or well used. Always been one of my favorite parts of your work.

Sheez the hits just keep coming with the commissions! It's always great to see Spider-Man against multiple villains. Your Sandman and Doc Ock, just the best.
