20" x 30" or 30" x 40" illustration of the X-Men vs. the Imperial Guard circa Uncanny X-Men # 137; the battle is taking place on the Blue Area of the moon. Please include the following characters:

- Dark Phoenix

- Cyclops

- Wolverine

- Beast

- Colossus

- Storm

- Nightcrawler

- Angel

- Gladiator

- Starbolt

- Smasher

- The Skrull in monster form

- The Watcher and the Recorder in the background observing

The details are:

- horizontal layout

- please have Dark Phoenix erupting with the Phoenix effect

- Colossus vs. Gladiator; all other match ups are up to you

- no damage to characters costumes

- include the Earth as a distant background element and also one of the bug-eyed spaceships in the sky.

Please snap a photo or two of the piece in progress

20x30, full sized scan off to Dan.

When I saw the title of the thread, I got this lunatic picture of all the X-men mooning . . . never mind!

Thankfully, I found instead this great piece of artwork . . .

I'm going to have to wait for the larger scan to really feast my eyes, but this looks brilliant from what I can see.

Outstanding! Looks like they're all to late.

Ahh, to see these X-Men again is a welcomed sight.

(tho I can think of at least ONE of you who will manage to come up with an obscure question!).

JB - how much time do you think you spent on this?

Does that count?
