Matt Hawes - sorry I wasn't able to meet up today at the Indiana Comic
Con! We had a great time and got the photo with Carrie Fisher, but
shortly after that it started to go downhill as the kids missed their
naptimes...!

I'm on the left with my daughter, and that's my brother-in-law getting all
the love, and my nephew on the far right:

That picture reminds me of a episode of Stephen Fry's QI on which Ms Fisher was a guest panelist. Fry finally confessed to her that he and the rest of the panel, all male, were doing the best they could to keep their heads from exploding in her presence. So big a part of their childhood was she!

Dan, that's okay. Hopefully, we can meet up at the next show.

I will be there for a few hours today and then I am on the way back home. It's been a good show so far. Yesterday was pretty busy.

Attended Niagara Falls Comic Con yesterday to have Darwyn Cooke autograph my copy of Parker: Martini Edition. He was super nice and funny, and he did a huge profile drawing of Parker for me.

He also supplied the artwork for the Program schedule booklet. (didn't think to have him sign that though. duh.)

I purchased 22 comics, 2 tpbs, and 1 Marvel Treasury Edition.
