A new 'Godzilla themed' hotel is opening next month in Tokyo.

Heh! The wait list for that room will undoubtedly be months long... Not sure if I'd like to sleep with a giant G-Hand above me though.

Thanks for the link! The previous Japanese articles I've seen on this only teased images of the room itself.

Those appear to be CGI. I wonder what the real rooms look like?

I was surprised to not see actual photos too, especially since it's opening next month.

And Bill! What could be more comforting and reassuring than sleeping with a huge Godzilla hand right next to you!?

Next to me is one thing... Above me, that is another.

The concept as it is presented at the link is surprisingly subdued.

If you told me there will be a Godzilla themed hotel in Japan….and then asked me to describe what I thought it would be….I would have said said the hotel building would be shaped like Godzilla and the rooms would be inside his body.

The penthouse is in his head.

The Godzilla head has been installed on the Shinjuku-area cinema and hotel...

Can they make it animatronic? Like, so it moves and roars and attacks buildings?

Reminds me of Godzilla Tower at World Children's Land. Is this project being financed by roach people from Space Hunter Nebula M?

What Emery was referring to:

Godzilla Tower

If there is a triple laser in that G-Head, the firing angle is going to take out the nearby Robot Restaurant...

Shouldn't a Godzilla themed hotel be a pile of rubble?
