20" x 30" illustration of Batman and Spider-Man vs. Joker and the Circus of Crime in a big-top circus setting .  The details are:

- landscape format

Characters:

- Batman (Adams/Aparo vintage with oval on chest)

- Spiderman (Ditko vintage - webs under arms)

- Joker

- Ringmaster

- Princess Python

- Cannonball

- Gambannos

- A hypnotized Hulk (ala the first Circus of Crime appearance)

It is your call on the Hulk's appearance, in the original story he is dressed in circus attire, but please draw him as you prefer.  Please do show that he is under the Ringmaster's hypnotic influence.

...and I'd be happy to post it for you, except the site is being naughty, and refusing to upload, saying the file is too big (even tho it's the same size as dozens I have posted before). Sorry, you'll have to wait until the Dapper One gets it uploaded to the Gallery!

This is cruel and unusual punishment.

Apparently, the Hulk destroyed the drawing while under the Ringmaster's influence. Perhaps JB dressed him funny?

I love the "Oh shit" look on Ringmaster's face.  He knows what he's in for.

Wow.

There's a lot to love about this commission, but Spider-Man facing off
against the Hulk is a definite standout!

Years ago I would have been shocked to see all these characters on the same page. But when I look at illustrations like this I forget that these characters belong to two different comic book companies. They're blended together so well. Just seems natural, like they belong together. Well done JB!

Wow!! This one is mine - I thought the Joker and the Circus of Crime was a natural - and I knew someday I would want a Batman / Spidey team up!  Once again JB knocks it out of the park!!  Thanks JB and Jim W!!
