Wow. A woman has been sentenced to 20 years for thowing her miscarried fetus in a dumpster.

Instead of building a fence between us and Mexico, maybe we should divert some of that money to walling off Indiana.

Gotta love Indiana. Amazing how the effect religion has on your
decision making process is so important when it comes to
discriminating against same sex couples yet it has no bearing on some
poor girl who makes a poor choice due to fear of religious
repercussions!

What happened to the separation of church and state? This feticide law is clearly a religious law, and therefore unconstitutional. It is really starting to look like the religious right side wont compromise as far as law and government are concerned without there being an armed conflict to settle the matter first. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, it's not like this side learned any of the lessons from the Civil War or the Civil Rights movement. In both of those instances the religious right resorted to violence to try and prove their point as being right.

While I don't agree with her jail sentence I'm finding it hard to
sympathize with a woman who discarded her baby in a dumpster.
