JB, when you're asked to recreate a cover or image, what freedom do you allow yourself to reinterpret poses, composition, etc.?

I ask because the recreations, to me, reflect your evolution as an artist--the original art is classic but the recreations are amazing.

Thanks. When asked for a reimagining, rather than a recreation, I take it as carte blanche to reconfigure the poses and positions as much as I want, unless the customer asks for something specific.

I saw a kid at the movies this past weekend with a t-shirt on that had nothing but Byrne X-Men heads on it. I wish I'd asked him where he got it.
