LinkSpandex with not much armor. Yeah, that sounds JUST like the Iron Man I've been drawing all these years!

Just read the article. Iron Man. "spandex-like attire and minimal armor". This claim believes that's what he wore from inception until 2001. That's 38 years in spandex! Unbelievable. Talk about a frivolous lawsuit!

Probably hoping to be paid money to go away.
I think they've also confused Iron Man wearing 'minimal armour' with 'minimalist armour'.

Probably hoping to be paid money to go away.•• Not likely to happen. Risk of too many similar suits. Ultimately, would cost the company more than fighting and winning this one.

As noted on FB, doesn't Whilce Portacio's Iron Man in 96 predate these guys? http://marvel.wikia.com/Iron_Man_Vol_2 _1

I always assumed that the IM films owed more to the Hitch "Ultimates" IM (which, at the time, they were clearly mining given Nick Fury/Samuel Jackson being used in both the films and the comic).

It's amusing that in their complaint, they cherry pick covers that show that Iron Man's armor has stayed the same for the last 50 years. The Heroes Reborn armor alone, as well as the progression of Iron Man suits over the years undermines their claims.

Pretty much nothing of Ultimate Iron Man has made it into the films.

I think these two are about to find out that Disney has some of the best lawyers in the world.

So where's the lawsuit against them by every single sci-fi manga creator like, ever?

********** That's the first thing I said to myself! Those designs look nothing alike to me.
