A master comic strip artist has left us, in my view, the greatest story strip artist of the second half of the 20th century.  He drew beautifully, and he wrote beautifully too.

I can look up from my seat at the computer and see two of his MARY PERKINS dailies hanging on my Studio wall. A true master of his craft.

Thundercats was my favorite cartoon when I was a kid.  I have a disc of it from Netflix I'm planning to introduce my nephews to later this week in fact!

A stunning cartoonist. It is sad to see the passing of one of the amazing talents of the field whose name has not been mentioned as often as his talent should have warranted. Rest in peace.

I was not familiar with his work before read this thread. I googled some of his stuff, very impressive. I especially like how he drew hair.
