While checking email this morning I noticed a picture of the horrible-looking Dr. Doom from the new FF movie.  Curiosity led me to click the link which led to another curious look here and another there.  Soon I was reading about the current goings on with Marvel's Secret Wars.  The preview pages I looked at made me happy I quit reading comics last year.  Most of the comments therein were of the "This is the best work from Marvel..." blather. I decided to look for level-headed reviews of what is going on with Marvel so I came here.  Scanning through this thread thus far it appears that Marvel is largely being ignored. That speaks volumes to me.  Time was when most posts here were filled with Marvel titles.

I struggle to find any Marvel titles to buy.
My August Previews pre-order consists of:
Amazing Spider-Man 1 & 2 (I will always buy ASM)
Astonishing Ant-Man 1 - enjoyed the movie, we'll see.
Invincible Iron Man 2 - giving it a try, not sure.

That's it.

Missed Teen Titans and Ragnarok on the list. I picked them up as well as the Back Issue with my stack.

Back Issue #83. Nice Alpha Flight article.

(This magazine is the only title on my pull list at my LCS.)
