Mr. Byrne, You are correct. While I have seen people banned when you've become frustrated (at least they appear to have been banned) I have no reason to believe that you are at all frustrated with my comments. My sincere apologies. It is never my intention to attack anyone, nor appear to, which my comment could have been taken as.

Tell that to tobacco companies or even alcohol manufacturers.

I believe tobacco was successfully sued because they had mislead the public about the dangers of their products. I'm unaware of them being successfully sued these days for people choosing to smoke even after learning the dangers. I'm unaware of alcohol being liable for their products, only people using them and doing stupid things. Firearms have never once (to my knowledge) pretended to not be dangerous. I should note, that every gun manufacture I've seen has said the product is extremely dangerous and to use with extreme caution. I wouldn't be surprised if some idiot was out there making cartoons with misinformation and pretending guns weren't designed to destroy something.

What am I missing...
A Gun is a weapon of course when used correctly it will kill someone.
A Car is a vehicle to transport something from one place to the other. (not intended for deadly use of force in most cases)
How is there a comparison to be made.
Both currently require some kind of license in most states to operate correctly.
Manufactures of both of the above make the best and safest product they can for public safety.
If a gun or a car is made improperly, and causes harm to it's owner the Manufacturer can be taken to court in BOTH cases.
edit : intended not indented

For some reason, YouTube is showing a lot of different commercials for the NRA, that auto-play before some of their regular, unrelated videos...
These commercials make the NRA look like Scientology for gun nuts.

Log in if you have an account on You Tube. I noticed the same thing. Auto ads seem to go away if your logged in.
