Sorry, it should be "Not a day without a line", attributed to Apeles, a Greek painter. Supposed to inspire to practice or produce work with focus and intent and perhaps creativity.

Looking at that picture of Joe, it's somewhat startling to realize that when I first met him, in the early Seventies, he was twenty years younger than I am now!Where DID that time go??
