Stan Lee "appears" in the Spider-Man ride at least 4 times. We are still trying to find/seeing if there are any more "Stans" to spot. His voice is used at the end as well.

I wonder how long Universal has the rights to the Marvel characters for their amusement parks? I'm sure Disney would love to open a Marvel area of DisneyWorld and DisneyLand like they're planning with Star Wars.

The Spider-Man ride is one of my favorite amusement park rides. I haven't been since they redone it though.

It's funny though that at least up until a few years ago they still had the X-Men walking around in their early 90s costumes. The whole park mostly seems frozen in the Marvel comic status quo from when it opened in the late 90s. Maybe they only licensed out specific versions of the characters?

Universal has it in perpetuity east of the Mississippi. So Disney could put up something at Disneyland, if they desired (or Hong Kong as they are with an iron Man themed attraction).

Here is an interesting article on the whole thing.

Those JB illos weren't there yesterday when we were at the park. A shame, too. I would've loved seeing them there.

Weird... Are you sure? These were in the way to the Storm attraction.

Positive. I walked the length of both walls looking at all the artwork. The title graphic wasn't there either. The only info was printed sheets that said it was the Hulk ride and would return next year stapled to the wall.
