Lots of of super-nice stuff going on here, from the layout/composition through to the execution.

One element that I really enjoy and something that I feel John does very well, is somone being struck and the resulting head-tilt. So in this example I'm geeking out over the Grimm Reapers head.

Just the right amount of power/tilt/dynamisim.

Nice idea to match up Batroc with Iron Fist. I also like how well you interpret the instructions. Tussling with no one clearly winning becomes some kind of awesome Mexican standoff of flying kicks!

Cool effect around the Reaper's scythe.

I'm amazed at how you're able to fit so much action into one page and not make it feel crowded!  Incredible piece!

Very COOL!!! Batroc vs Iron Fist seems like a natural. I don't recall that match-up before, in the comics, though.

This is one of the things I've noticed changing since I've been doing ST:NV. All that cut-and-paste seems to have had a noticeable impact on hot I build a head.

Colin, thanks for the info. I know I've had that issue at the shop several times, but I forgot about that appearance.

Love the commission title.

Great placement of the characters. Seeing Iron Fist by JB always makes me reread my Essential Iron Fist.

Congrats to the commissioner.
