Transported me back to the day!
Taking into effect the mastery of your craft since the late 70's early 80's, that's the iconic Wolverine we all fell in bloodlust with....
This would make a killer Fathead!

While that's my favorite run of comics, ever, what I wouldn't give to have today's John Byrne draw those comics.

Alas, yes. Once again, creative integrity falls before the Whim of Iron!

Somewhere Jim Shooter is shouting 'It's only a flesh wound, Xavier'll pay the hospital bill'.

Seriously, lovely figure poses.  Takes me back to a time we will never see again.

I am jealous of the commissioner of this piece. #133 is my all time
favorite X-Men comic. Anything that references that issue is gold.

Just a wonderful and visceral piece.

Excellent!

This would go nice with a "before" one of Wolverine getting gut-shot!

Wonderfully graphic and nostalgic. JB, did the comics code even bat an eye at some of Wolverine's "antics" during your run?

This is fantastic!

I love how you can still tell among all the grappling that Wolverine is shorter than the other guy, but much more sturdily built!  Mighty Zarquon, those shoulders!

I can only wonder how many perfectly chosen moments like this have eluded movie cameras because the moment came between two frames.

Masterful!

Vicious. But in a good way. Gorgeous
piece. I love the highlights on the
Hellfire Club soldier's left arm.
