Kids want me to take them to the Orlando Mega Con next month. So barring any logistically issues we should go.

The Indiana Comic Con has a strong list of comic guests. It, of course, conflicts with my family's schedule, but I may still try to make it up for just Saturday. Anyone else planning to attend?

Neal Adams
Michael Golden
Bernie Wrightson
George Perez
Ron Wilson
Chris Claremont
Marv Wolfman
Jim Shooter

It's April 28th - May 1st

It didn't seem like they had many panels scheduled involving the guests outside of Jim Shooter. Maybe that will change.

I do wish that they had all of those artists on one panel. That would be worth the price of admission.

I think we take for granted that Neal Adams, Michael Golden and George Perez will be attending these for quite a while, but man when they stop it'll be jarring and a sad time for so many of us who grew up inspired by their work! I saw JB 3 or 4 times at Mid-Ohio and when he stopped doing the show I was definitely glad I made those trips!

Yep, missed the opportunities to meet John, while he was
doing cons. Heck, I actually lived in NYC for 4 years and
didn't attend a single con. Didn't start going to any big
ones, until well after I moved out.

The Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo begins in just a few days. Is anyone here attending?

My must sees are:
Bob McLeod
Don Rosa
Jens Robinson
Joe Rubinstein
Joe Staton
John Beatty
Mark McKenna
Mike Zeck
Ty Templeton

Stan (Lee) will probably be too busy to see and he will be in the area with the celebrities, which is usually very congested with attendee=

Say "Hi!" to Don Rosa for me, Steve. Haven't seen him in many, many moons!

Don is an interesting guy. I've had several prolonged conversations with
him. Along with being extremely talented, he doesn't suffer fools kindly.
I'm amazed that we made it beyond our first meeting.

Looks like I will be able to make it to Indiana Comic Con. If anyone else is making the trip and wants to chat Byrne for a bit, let me know. it's always good to put a face with a name.

I've been going to Heroescon in Charlotte, NC since it first began back in the early 1980s and Dragoncon in Atlanta, GA since the early 1990s, I've also hit the great Baltimore Con several times; plus there are usually a number of smaller regional events that I pop into annually.
