I'm up for the possibility of a forum dinner, if schedule permits and I can
bring a few friends.
***********

Each friend must bring one piece of original Byrne artwork.

Please don't rip of the end of the "ticket" when admitting attendees!

Ok, so I recently did the Camden Comic Con, the Ocean
City Comic Con, and East Coast Comic Con. Next up is
AC-BC - the Atlantic City Boardwalk Con. Before that,
Bob Petrecca should be visiting my Comic Book Club on
Monday.

I will be at Motor City all weekend!  Looking forward to seeing those of you that will be there!  This is my home show.  I live about 40 minutes from Novi.

John, we may have room at the table, if you want to stop by. ;)

••

I'm reminded of when I was still living in Canada and a con sent me an invitation saying they'd be happy to have me "stop by" if I was "in the area."

The con was in Australia!!

I saw Don Rosa yesterday evening. The Expo started at 4:00PM and Don was very busy. I went by his booth a few times and about 7:40PM there was just 3 people waiting in line.

I told Don you (JB) said "Hi" and he asked what you were doing now. He was mulling over the memories of when he had seen you last and seemed surprised it was so long ago.

Don could not quite pin down whether he met you, when you were starting out in the business, in New York or Chicago.

Harvey Comics came up and Mike Zeck (also at the Expo) was mentioned and I got a little history on RBCC.

Had a wonderful time at the Indiana Comic Con.

Some of the guests that I went up to see were completely slammed and didn't have much of a chance to have much in the way of a conversation with them, but fortunately I did spend time with one of my favorites - Bernie Wrightson. It was incredibly cool to have a one on one conversation with him, while and looking through his artwork.

I felt mesmerised looking at all of his amazing work, when out of the corner of my eye, I saw him reaching for a hatchet, at which time, I decided it was time to make a quick exit, before I became the subject of his next drawing!

I was at the East Coast Comicon in April. Bit of a drive but a lot of fun.
Didn't really buy all that much, a couple treasury editions and Captain America 251. Great line-up as usual. A good blend of Newer and established pros.

Saw Paul Kupperberg again this year, he always tells great stories. On my way out heading back home I ran into him in the front foyer area, he didn't know where the panel room was, (and he was moderating) so I sent him on his way. (The panel is online at his blog, BTW). I guess when you do a lot of cons, they all blur together, as well as the locations of what is where.
