I'm planning to go to Motor City on Sunday (I'm not getting a table this year). Hopefully I'll get to say "hi" to some JBF folks!

Bob Petrecca did come and visit the comic book club this
week, but apparently I cannot post the picture from
here...

Let me try this link instead.

My son Matt and I will be attending the Wizard World Philadelphia Convention on June 3, 4, and 5.  We will be sitting with Salvador Larroca and Angel Unzueta and helping them sell their artwork.  I will only be displaying artwork by Salvador and Angel at the show, but I can bring along some JB artwork if folks have any requests.  Please contact me privately at capshockyfan@yahoo.com  if you are attending the show and would like me to bring anything in particular with me.

I will also be attending the Baltimore Comic Con (on Friday only) and the Comic Art Con in Secaucus, NJ; both of these are held in September.

Anyone else?

I was at Wizard World Philly today; my first convention.  Had a lot of fun!  David Duchonvy bumped my shoulder, walking past me.  I saw Chris Evans up close, as well as Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Hayley Atwood, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson from a distance.  (None "officially".  I didn't pay for any autographs or photo ops.)  Some really great cosplayers and displays.

I think there were comic books there too.

Did anyone take in HeroesCon last weekend? On sort of a spur-of-the-moment thing, I headed down to Charlotte Friday morning and spent a few hours there. I went mostly for the comics, and picked up a few early JIM/Thor issue I needed as well as a couple of JB X-men issues that I didn't have. There was some fantastic original art pages there - including a Kirby cover of one of the first FF issues I ever bought (#174). It could have been mine for $75,000!
