Some I forgot:
The firefighter's helmets from Emergency! (Major impact on my youth..and a JB connection!)
Zodac from He-Man. I was too old for toys, but he was my favorite.
Elmer Fudd's magic helmet!!!

I'll stick to comics and Star Wars, or I'd have the White Ranger helmet from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (or Dairanger, if you want to go with the original Japanese series) on the list. And I'm sticking to my top 10 only.
1. Iron Man Classic 2. Judge Dredd 3. Darth Vader 4. Doctor Fate full helmet (does anyone really like the half one?) 5. Jay Garrick Flash 6. Iron Man Silver Centurion 7. Magneto 8. Nova 9. Hawkman 10.Doctor Doom
Doctor Doom's is low on the list only because for some reason I always think of it more as a mask and forget it actually is a helmet.....more or less.

I suppose nowadays somebody's first choice might be... Batman!•• That goes back further than you might think. As a kid, I was struck by how Dick Sprang (who I only knew then as "Bob Kane") drew Batman's mask as if it was a helmet. And, of course, that was definitely true of the Adam West version...

Doctor Doom's is low on the list only because for some reason I always think of it more as a mask and forget it actually is a helmet.....more or less.•• It's so rarely drawn covering his whole head. When I retold the origin, I drew what Kirby had drawn, treating it as a mask. But those few times I've seen it as a complete wrap-around, it's made so much more sense. Not a great idea to go into battle with just a hood!

For me, the first thing that comes instantly to mind is Nova's helmet.Guess I always had a soft spot for ol' bucket-head.

No particular order:
- Ant Man (the helmet the way Neal Adams drew it in Avengers 93)
- Starman (DC Golden Age version) There was just something about it that I thought was so unique, esp. when he was part of the Brave & Bold team-up with Black Canary in the 60's.
