Hi... Just watched "ROCKETEER" with my daughter, it´s so fun rewatching older movies. Okey, sometimes not. I really like his helmet, and then we started talking about other heros helmets. what´s your favorite comicbook helmets. (including Star Wars) This is my list, and It just happens to be full-face helmets. It should be some kind of metallhelm and not a hood or spandex-type.

In no particular order....Magneto, the "pointy" Iron Man, Galactus, Orion, the Rocketeer, Dr. Fate (full face), and since it technically covers his whole head, Doctor Doom. I'm sure there are others.

Hela of Asgard has some interesting headgear (especially when drawn by Walt Simonson).
Thor's helmet is pretty cool.
I like Jay Garrick's classic Mercury helmet--it's a keeper.
Guardian's has nice, clean lines.
And I like Ant-Man's original helmet. Very cool and retro sf.

Some of my favorites have already been mentioned (Boba Fett, Magneto, "pointy" Iron Man). I loved the helmets from the Micronauts, specifically when Michael Golden was the artist! Space Glider, Bug, Baron Karza, Prince Shaitan and Acroyear. I always found it challenging to draw them to my satisfaction.It's interesting to me that I've always disliked the Juggernaut's helmet, yet it's listed as a favorite for some of you. Last minute addition...LOVE Guardian's helmet!
