Over in another thread, I responded to a comment from Robbie with the Sub-
Mariner's oft-proclaimed "IMPERIUS REX!" That got me thinking about some of
the different words and phrases heroes yell as they charge into battle or utter
in anger, dismay, shock or surprise. So I'd like to ask…

What is your single favorite superhero battle cry or exclamatory utterance?
What about it resonates with you?

If you choose to participate, please share just one answer. Don't give an
honorable mention or include any other choices you may have considered or
present any contrived scenario where you offer multiple picks.

"Avengers Assemble" has always had a great ring to it.

I like it because it is simple but effective. That's my choice, Wallace. :)

"It's Clobberin' Time!"*

Why it resonates with me? I don't know, other than it really fits the Thing.

*And I refuse to let that stupid "Fant4stick" movie's origin for the battlecry diminish it in my view.

"Odd's Blood!"

When a God is surprised by something it's usually quite a sight.

"It's clobberin' time!" has got to be the best.  It really fits the character and seems like something he would really say.

Nothing tops "It's clobberin' time!" for me.

Side note: my kids love a PBS show called Super Why, which has a team of kid superheroes solving problems inside storybooks.  Their rallying cry, their version of "Avengers assemble!," is "To the Book Club!"

Every time I hear my kids shout that, I can't help but smile.
