I'll start the ball rolling by saying Guardian gets my vote as the most powerful member of Alpha Flight. He has a good mix of flight, energy blast, and forcefield, to start, but he also has a brilliant mind and the ability to analyze problems on the fly, making him a very effective leader.
Shaman has a LOT of power(s) at his command as well, but I'd give Mac the edge.
Thoughts? Nominations from other teams?

As a little tater tot, this is how I ranked FF members from most to least powerful.

However, as I got older, the order reversed!

Classic X-men the Professor. The extent of his powers, the distance and exacting precision he could use them. There were few defences against them.

X-Men: Jean Grey, even without the Phoenix stuff, heck, even without the telepathy. Telekinesis is no joke. She could stop almost any bad guy's heart with a wave of her hand. Not that she would, thankfully. (Oh crap. NuMarvel! She hasn't, has she?!)

Trevor
I was going to make it a tie between Dr. Strange and the Silver Surfer.
The full extent of the Surfer's Power Cosmic abilities I believe are on par with Dr. Strange's mystical powers.

I get the feeling that JB doesn't shy away from a challenge very often. He also questioned the notion of the Sentinels being crappy villains. We all know how that turned out.
