A new promo for all four CW shows, featuring Supergirl teaming up with Flash, Arrow and a few “Legends of Tomorrow” for a mega DCTV crossover-

Charles - Warner Brothers has blocked the video from YouTube. Too bad... it sounded interesting. :(

It's on the CW app, which is where we'll be watching the shows.

The two shows I'm most excited to see return are THE FLASH and LEGENDS OF TOMORROW. But LoT only because they're bringing in the JSA.

I may give LOT another try this season.

I'm definitely watching FLASH.
SUPERGIRL gets a chance because Supergirl herself was tremendously likeable last season, and if they get Superman right it could be interesting.
I don't know about LOT - didn't much care for the first season.
I'm done with ARROW.

The Flash is the best DC tv show WB has.

LOT needs a lot of polishing, but has promise.

Arrow just doesn't have it anymore.

Supergirl needs work after being neglected by CBS, and a rocky first season.

The Vertigo shows (iZombie, Preacher and Lucifer), I like well enough.

I hope that Arrow can get the series back on track. I'd hate for it to be cancelled. The only reason I decided to give The Flash a chance was because of Arrow. I wasn't a fan of the show when it first came on. It was only when it was gonna start it's third season that I decided to binge watch the season one and two on Netflix. My son and I really enjoyed the show. We also got a chance to see Grant Gustin's debut on the show that made us decide to give Flash a chance.

Getting rid of the increasingly more convoluted and preposterous flashbacks would be a start. In the first two seasons, which were good, they served a purpose. Then the creators went all "Obi-Wan" on us with "Oh, he wasn't actually trapped on that island for five years after all...".

I agree Petter. I liked the flashbacks but it is getting a bit much now.

The serialized flashbacks in ARROW are supposed to go away after
this season, but they still plan to use flashbacks as a storytelling device
on occasion in future seasons.

Regarding ARROW, they need to try and get away from the dark, brooding garbage. And I hate that they don't have him use gimmick arrows much. Would have been a great way to deal with last season's villain. (Villain holds arrow in midair using magic? Okay....remote detonation taser arrow!)

The JSA coming in is the only reason I'm giving LOT a shot this season. I hated what they did to Atom and Captain Cold at the end of last season. That, and the Vandal Savage explanation was idiotic.

I didn't  mind that Arrow was a bit darker than the Flash. It has gotten too dark. As much as they want to infuse the show with traces of Batman story elements. The Green Arrow isn't Batman.  A little light heartedness would be nice to break up the intensity. Legends of Tomorrow is another show that was to dark. Hopefully that will easy up a little.

What Arrow needs is a new direction, that doesn't involve it pirating ideas and story lines from other DC IPs. Also the melodrama of Olicity needs to dry up.

Oh god, please, no more flashbacks on Arrow. I can barely pay attention to the MAIN story sometimes...

We'll catch it on the CW app. We can never watch it the night it airs. Thanks, Kevin.

So, is ARROW this week, too, then the others are next week?

Good season premiere. The Flash is back!

Ugh.... Arrow tomorrow.  Bracing for the cringe.

Legends of Tomorrow next Thursday on the 13th.

SPOILERS

Last night was a very good episode. It seemed to be a different take on Flashpoint (the episode's title too) with things seeming to come out okay. But it's still much the same, with Barry beginning to assimilate into the new timeline - "Eventually, you'll forget you're the Flash!"

I wonder, in this situation and others, why the hero - already in the desirable scenario - doesn't just write himself a note or make himself a video with all the details of his previous world. Is that a lot of information? Well, yeah.. but it IS the Flash. He could write himself a couple of novel size diaries, and then read them again, in about the time it takes for a potty trip. (Hey, I like to read on the potty, okay?)

"Everything's going wrong..." Nah. One thing went wrong - Joe West was a burgeoning alcoholic. Barry helping him through with that not only would address it, but would reestablish their friendship.

And then the resolution... which wasn't a resolution. Either Barry is in ANOTHER alternate timeline (I'm getting a little tired of those...) or somehow conditions changed radically in the three overwritten months, regarding Iris. I don't need more "this-changed-how-can-I-fix it? Oh-right-I'm-the-Flash."

I guess it remains to see if Flashpoint has any effect on Arrow or Supergirl - or even LoT. They're in the timestream, but the Flashpoint changes apparently go far enough back to affect most of the characters.

But I was surprised while watching it that it was only an hour; it felt like a great 90 minute episode that was fully engaging. Save for one or two items as above, it was a lot of fun. Enjoy!

Early on, the writers of the Flash gave up on being coherent with their time travel stories. But now they are just being flippant. Why would saving Barry's mom lead to Caitlin becoming an opthamologist? The breakup of the West family happened separately from Barry becoming an orphan. Why would Wally West have grown up in Central City. Why would he even have received the Speed Force?

Hey, if the writers don't take their stories seriously, why should the audience?

Butterfly effect? I'm sure that this is going to be addressed next week
with Joe and Iris now estranged despite Barry's mom's death being
restored.

It's not that difficult to posit scenarios where Barry's changes to the
timeline affected Caitlin, from Thawne/Wells originally nudging her
career in certain directions with his knowledge of future history and now
being unable to do so to Henry Allen's presence altering the career
path of doctors who would have had a positive or negative effect on
Caitlin when she was a med student.

I thought that the Flashpoint timeline made more sense than last year's
"Harrison Wells was erased from the timeline but everything still
happened and everyone can remember him" time remnant deal. I
appreciate that they expect the viewers are genre-savvy enough to get
the Butterfly effect without having a character spout technobabble.
