Enjoyed this series. I was especially fond of the Civil War ghost.

I wonder how the relationship between Nudge and her ghost boyfriend would have lasted.

I got this run a couple of years ago ,like Wallace said after a couple of issues it was in the groove. I finished them in 2 nights of reading. All I can say about this run is, WAY TOO SHORT!!

Also loved this series and the characters that appeared in it (Metamorpho especially). I would have really liked to see where it was going. It had a sort of Challengers of the Unknown vibe for me too.

"To date, JB's run on the Doom Patrol is my favorite take on those characters. I hated what DC did with the new characters that JB created during his run."
If DC doesn't use Nudge, Grunt or any of the baddies JB created on his run, will the copyright eventually return to him?

Not sure how that works. LAB RATS reverted to me, but that was a different deal.

I could see Nudge and Grunt interacting with the characters from LAB RATS.

What role did you plan on having for Grunt on the team since he wasn't that useful?

Wilson, why don't you think Grunt was useful? He saved Nudge's life more than once, and the Chief and Vortex's lives as well.

JB's Doom Patrol was pretty cool… was never a fan until JB "introduced" me to them*…. I really wish it had been a longer run as I was really getting into the characters and subplots.
(*Made me read the old Silver Age issues.)
Never really understood why there was such negative vibes for the reboot and I thought Nudge and Grunt were cool and interesting additions to the group.

DC is currently soliciting a reboot of Doom Patrol, written by Gerard Way, former DC intern and (more notably) former lead singer of My Chemical Romance.
